Amicable Separation & Divorce

Agree early. Put it in writing. Keep it fair.
A plain-English pathway for married and de facto couples who can still agree. Work through the terms together in a private two-person workspace, prepare the right document for each issue, and self-file where the official process allows.
Two viewpoints. One exact set of accepted terms.
The buyer sends a secure invitation. Each person records their own position, then either can propose the precise wording for the agreement. A topic is not agreed until both people accept it separately.
- The invited person cannot see the buyer’s account, payment details or private documents.
- Changing a position reopens the topic and clears earlier acceptance.
- The final document set is generated only after every topic is agreed and both people confirm the whole agreement.
The home and mortgage

Home, property, parenting and divorce are different legal and practical jobs. These products are deliberately separate, so you can solve the immediate issue without buying or claiming something the document cannot do.

Answer separately, agree together
Use exact names, dates, balances and arrangements. The products record what you both agreed; they do not decide who should get what.
Review every word
Both people read the draft, correct anything inaccurate and confirm the same final wording before signing or filing.
Sign or self-file
Private agreements are signed and kept. Consent orders and divorce use the official Commonwealth Courts Portal process explained in the pack.
Start with the law and process that actually applies.
Federal family law is national, but Western Australia has a distinct court and de facto property pathway, and every state and territory has its own protection-order system.
What to do, what not to do, and how to turn agreement into action.
No blurred promises
A private agreement, a parenting plan, consent orders and a divorce are not interchangeable.

When self-service is not the fair option
Stop before paying if anyone is pressured, afraid or no longer agrees, or if there may be family violence or child-safety risk. The consent-orders pack also stops matters involving incomplete financial disclosure, superannuation splitting, companies or trusts, bankruptcy, overseas property or third-party rights. Western Australian de facto property matters are directed to the separate WA court pathway.
- Binding financial agreements and binding child support agreements are not sold as lawyer-free products: each party needs independent legal advice.
- The Court—not Claim Done—decides whether parenting orders are in the children's best interests and whether financial orders are just and equitable.
- If there is immediate danger, call 000. Confidential family violence support is available from 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732.
Keep the agreement. Lose the unnecessary fight.
Start with the document that matches where you are now. You will see the questions and full price before payment, and nothing is sent to the other person automatically.
