Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Claim Done.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Claim Done ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Claim Done ("we", "us", "our").
2. Description of Service
Claim Done is an AI-assisted document drafting tool that helps users prepare draft documents for use in Australian civil disputes, debt recovery, and tribunal proceedings. Our services include:
- Letters of Demand
- Cease and Desist letters
- Tribunal and court applications (QCAT, VCAT, NCAT, ACAT, NTCAT and Magistrates Court claims)
- Witness Statements
- Legal Submissions
- Statutory Demands
3. Not Legal Advice
Claim Done is not a law firm. Nothing on this Platform, or in any document generated by this Platform, constitutes legal advice. Our AI generates documents based on the information you provide. We do not guarantee any legal outcome.
Documents generated by Claim Done are intended as a starting point and general guide only. You are responsible for reviewing all documents before use and for ensuring they are appropriate for your specific circumstances.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and an Australian resident or have a dispute subject to Australian law to use Claim Done. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
5. Account Registration
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@claimdone.com.au of any unauthorised access.
6. Fees and Payment
All fees are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Fees are charged on a per-service basis with no ongoing subscription. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Your Information and Evidence
You represent and warrant that:
- All information and documents you upload are accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge
- You have the right to upload and use the documents you provide
- You are not using Claim Done to make false, vexatious or frivolous claims
- You will not upload material that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
Claim Done reserves the right to refuse service to any user who we reasonably believe is misusing the Platform.
8. Document Delivery
Where Claim Done sends documents to a third party on your behalf, you authorise us to do so and confirm that the recipient details you have provided are correct. Claim Done is not liable for documents delivered to incorrect addresses based on information you provided.
9. Electronic Signing
Claim Done Sign is available only for selected ordinary agreements. Each signer receives a private email link and must confirm that they reviewed the document, identify themselves, consent to electronic signing and intend to sign. We record the frozen document hash, Claim Done server time, device-reported time and timezone, network IP, browser and device details, and the signer's adopted signature.
You must provide accurate signer names and email addresses and must not sign for another person or pressure anyone to sign. A device time can be inaccurate and a network IP may represent a VPN, mobile carrier, workplace or shared connection; these are items of evidence, not conclusive identity proof. Claim Done does not determine whether a signer had authority, capacity or free consent, or whether a document is enforceable.
Claim Done Sign must not be used for a deed, will, affidavit, statutory declaration, court form or any document requiring a witness, prescribed execution process or independent legal advice. Those documents must be executed using the applicable official or witnessed process.
10. Intellectual Property
The Platform, its content, and all generated document templates are the intellectual property of Claim Done. Documents generated for you based on your specific information are yours to use. You may not resell, redistribute or commercialise documents or Platform content.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Claim Done's liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost legal claims, adverse tribunal decisions, or third-party actions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees.
12. Privacy
Your use of Claim Done is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
