01

Tell Us What Happened

Answer a few plain-English questions: who the other party is, what happened and when, and what you want. For a contract review or a reply to a letter you received, you upload that document; everything else is drafted from your answers.

  • A few minutes of questions
  • No card needed to start
  • Uploads are encrypted
02

See the Price, Then Pay

You see the flat price before you pay: from $49 for a single document, $97 for a tribunal application pack. One payment, no subscription and no hourly rates.

  • 139 document types
  • Secure Stripe payment
  • Afterpay, Zip and Klarna available at checkout
03

Your Document Is Drafted

Our Legal Oracle, built for Australian law, reads your answers (and, for a contract review or a reply, the document you uploaded), works out the legislation and tribunal for your state, and our Programmatic Algorithms draft the document in formal language as an A4 PDF.

  • Usually ready in about 5 minutes
  • The right legislation for your state
  • Formatted for QCAT, VCAT, NCAT and the other tribunals
04

You Review and Approve

Read every word on your dashboard. Change the wording yourself or ask us to redraft it (2 edits included), then confirm it is correct. Nothing is sent to anyone until you approve it.

  • Edit the wording yourself
  • Or ask for a redraft
  • Nothing is sent without your approval
05

Sent for You, or Ready to Lodge

Letters of demand, final demands and cease and desist letters are emailed to the other party for you once you approve, with a delivery record. Agreements and deeds can be emailed to the other party to sign once you approve them, or downloaded. Tribunal applications and witness statements are yours to download, sign and lodge. A statutory demand is yours to download and sign, then serve on the company by posting it to or leaving it at its registered office (s 109X). Your dashboard keeps everything, with the key dates.

  • Delivery date and time recorded
  • You get a copy and a download link
  • Key dates on your dashboard

Common Questions

How It Works — FAQs

What if I don't have any documents?

No problem. Many of our clients don't have formal contracts or written agreements. You describe what happened in the intake and our Programmatic Algorithms draft your document from your account of events, and the document can refer to the records you say you have.

How long does it take?

Most documents are drafted within about 5 minutes of payment. You review every document before anything is sent.

What if the other party doesn't have an email address?

For a letter we send for you, you can usually add registered post at checkout ($29): we print it, send it by Australia Post registered post within 24 hours on business days, and email you the tracking number. The recipient must sign for it on delivery. Emailing it to the other party is always included at no extra cost. The pay page shows the option when it is available for your document. Otherwise your document is ready to download and deliver yourself, by post or in person.

Is this legal advice?

No. Claim Done is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We generate legal documents based on the information you provide.

What states and territories do you cover?

All eight: QLD, NSW, VIC, WA, SA, TAS, ACT and NT. Our Programmatic Algorithms automatically apply the correct state-specific legislation for your jurisdiction.
