Direct answer

Consent orders are proposed parenting and/or property orders both people ask the Court to make. They become enforceable only if the Court approves and makes the orders.

What this document actually does

  • Drafts proposed parenting and/or property orders from the complete agreement you both supplied.
  • Provides the proposed orders as PDF and as an identical editable, unlocked Word document for the Court portal.
  • Provides a personalised guide to the official Application for Consent Orders and Court eFiling steps.
  • Flags the additional child-abuse, family-violence or risk notice required with parenting applications.
  • Stops unsuitable complex matters before checkout: coercion, incomplete disclosure, super splitting, trusts, companies, bankruptcy, overseas or third-party interests.
  • The Court still checks parenting orders against the children's best interests and financial orders for whether they are just and equitable. Approval is not guaranteed.

What it does not do

No agreement, incomplete disclosure, superannuation splitting, complex ownership, safety concerns or out-of-time applications. Claim Done prepares self-service documents from the facts and arrangements supplied; it does not represent either person or decide the outcome for them.

The process

From separate positions to agreed wording

1

Answer the suitability gates

Unsafe, pressured, incomplete or legally complex matters stop before checkout instead of being forced through a template.

2

Record the exact facts

Names, dates, values, responsibilities and arrangements come from the people involved. Missing facts are not invented.

3

Review and finalise

Invite the other person, agree each topic, then confirm the complete wording.

Included collaboration dashboard

Both people see the same topics—but keep separate control.

The buyer sends a secure email invitation. Each person records their own position. Either can propose exact joint wording. A topic turns green only after both accept it, and final confirmation is separate again.

The invitation does not expose the buyer’s account, payment information or private documents.

What we ask

Specific questions, not a blank legal form

  1. Are both people agreeing freely, with no pressure, threats, fear or family violence affecting the agreement?
  2. Who are the two parties? Both full legal names, and who will be Applicant and Respondent if already decided.
  3. Were you married or de facto? Give the relationship start date, separation date and, if divorced, the date the divorce became final.
  4. Is this a de facto property matter connected with Western Australia?
  5. What have you agreed and want the Court to make binding?
  6. For any property or financial orders, have both people made full and frank disclosure of all relevant assets, liabilities, superannuation and income?
  7. Does the agreement involve any of these: splitting superannuation; a company or trust; bankruptcy; overseas property; a third party; disputed facts; or someone who no longer agrees?
  8. If seeking property orders, is it more than 12 months since the divorce became final, or more than 2 years since a de facto relationship ended?
  9. For parenting orders, list each child's full name and date of birth. If property only, type None.
  10. Set out the exact parenting agreement: where the children live, regular days/nights, handover times and place, holidays and special days, calls, major decisions, school, health and travel. (optional)
  11. For property orders, list every asset, debt, superannuation balance and each person's approximate annual income. Include current values and whose name each is in. (optional)
  12. Set out the exact property agreement: who keeps each asset/debt, any sale or refinance, how net proceeds are divided, cash adjustment, transfer dates, vehicles, accounts and personal property. (optional)
  13. Are there any current court orders, cases, child protection matters or family violence orders relevant to the children or property? Give the court, file number and what is in place. (optional)

Agreed Family Consent Orders Pack FAQs

How much does the Consent Orders Pack cost?

A flat $149 AUD, including GST. There is no card required to start, no subscription and no hourly rate — you see the full summary of your answers before you pay.

How long does it take?

There are 13 questions, which take a few minutes to answer. The draft is usually ready in about 5 minutes after payment, any time of day.

When do I get the document?

The draft of your Agreed Family Consent Orders Pack is usually ready in about 5 minutes. You read it on your dashboard and can change the wording; once you confirm it, the final PDF is available to download and emailed to you.

What if I need changes?

You read the full Consent Orders Pack on your dashboard first. You can change the wording or ask for a redraft, with unlimited edits and 2 redrafts included, then confirm it and the final PDF is yours to download and keep.

Does it work in my state?

Yes, anywhere in Australia. Consent orders are filed in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia under the national family-law system.

Do we have to attend a hearing?

An agreed consent-order application is generally considered without a hearing and without either person being represented, but the Court can ask for more information, require changes or refuse the application.

Why is there a Word document as well as a PDF?

The Court asks for the signed proposed orders in PDF and an identical unsigned, editable and unlocked Word .docx copy. The pack creates both from the same final wording.

Can this include a superannuation split?

Not in this automated pack. A super split needs technical wording, valuation information and procedural fairness to the super fund trustee before filing. That is outside the safe scope of this self-service product.
