What this document does

What we'll ask you

Plain-English questions, one at a time. No legal knowledge needed — if you don't know an answer exactly, your best estimate is fine.

1. What are you selling?
2. Who is the provider — the person or business these terms are from? Give the full name (and company name and ABN if it is a business).
3. What is the program called, and what does it deliver? Describe briefly what the participant gets — the lessons, calls, community, downloads or support.
4. How does access work, and for how long? For example: lifetime access, 12 months, while the subscription is paid, or a fixed 6-week program.
5. What is the price, and is there a payment plan? Give the full price, and any instalment or subscription option (and the currency if not AUD).
6. What is your refund and cancellation policy — in your own words? For example: a 14-day money-back guarantee, no refunds once materials are accessed, or cancel a subscription any time. We will write it so it does not try to exclude rights the Australian Consumer Law does not allow to be excluded.
7. Does the program touch on financial, health, legal or other professional topics?
8. Any rules for participants you want included — a code of conduct, community rules, or things that are not allowed? You can skip this and we will include sensible general conduct terms.optional
9. Which state or territory are you (the provider) based in? This sets the governing law. You can skip it and we will refer to Australian law generally.optional
10. The state or territory the matter is in — so the document cites the right Act, regulator and tribunal.
