Does a letter of demand have legal force?
Yes. A correctly drafted letter of demand is a formal legal document. It establishes that you have put the other party on notice, creates a paper trail for any future tribunal or court proceedings, and in many cases prompts immediate payment without further action.
What if they ignore the letter?

What amount can I claim?
